ASB INFORMATION:
*Sea Hawks, next week is the first spirit week of the year!! The theme is "Redondo All-Stars" Monday kicks it off with "Good Morning Redondo"- PJ day, followed by "Team Sea Hawk"- Jersey Day on Tuesday. Wednesday is "Wack West Coast"- so wear your tie-dye and crazy socks, and Thursday is "Redondo Tourists"- Tacky Tourist gear. Finally, deck out in your class colors on Friday, Rally Day. Check out the RUHS ASB Instagram accounts @flockszn and @sammyseahawk for more information on Spirit Week!
*Hey Seniors! It's not too late to buy a Senior Sticker and enjoy all the fun senior events we have to offer (plus food!)! Stickers cost $40 and can be purchased in the ASB finance office! Hurry before it's too late!
HOMECOMING:
This year, the Homecoming Dance is going to take place on Saturday, September 21st. The theme is “Neon Nights”, and your ticket will include a food truck, game truck, dancing, table games, (air hockey and ping pong), and dancing! Tickets cost $35 with an ASB card and $40 without. Prices WILL go up, so be sure to purchase your ticket now!
RUHS Theater Arts:
It’s time to get ready for our Mainstage Winter Play – The Crucible – the famous historical drama about the Salem witch trials in Massachusetts. RUHS Theatre Arts will be holding interviews Monday September 16th for technical crew, and auditions Wednesday September 18th for actors. RED CROSS:
The Redondo Union Red Cross Club want to invite you to come join us and participate in a variety of volunteering services and activities throughout the year! Not only will you be helping out the school and your community, but you will also be building your academic resume along the way. Meetings are held every Friday in Mrs. Keller’s room, 827. We hope to see you there!
AP STUDENTS:
The ASB Finance Office is now accepting payments for AP exams. The exams do not happen until May, but College Board requires us to order in the fall. AP Exam payment is due by October 1.
RUHS ROBOTICS:
Did you know that RUHS has a World Championship competitive robotics team? If you are interested in joining the robotics team this year we will be having an Open House this Sunday, September 15 from 2-4 pm in the robotics room found on the bottom floor of the CTE building. There will be an entrance off of Diamond street. You can also stop by room 826 for a flyer.

CHEMISTRY TUTOR:
Need help with Chemistry? Come down to Room 122 during lunch on Tuesdays, and Thursdays for help! All qualified tutor who volunteer will receive community service hour!
MATH TUTORING:
Need help with math? Come down to Room 313 during lunch on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for help! Need community service hours? Like math? Come down to the Math Tutoring Club to volunteer as a math tutor for community service!
THE NEST:
Senior Parent Night – RUHS Library Tuesday, Sept 17 @6pm-7:30pm or Wed, Sept 18 @6pm-7:30pm.
REDONDO RED: Every Friday at Redondo is Redondo Friday! So sport RED or Redondo gear. Everyone should have received a Red spirit shirt on the first day of school, so you have something to wear!
DRESS CODE:
Please remember that RUHS has a strict dress code policy that needs to be adhered to. Failure to do so will result in having to change and/or fix your outfit. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask any adult on campus, or look on the website or in your school planner for the dress code policy of what is allowable and what is not.
PARKING AT RUHS:
Staff and Students: All parking spots are assigned and permitted. In order for you to park in the parking lot during the school day, you MUST have been assigned a designated spot. Please do not park in the parking lot if you did not receive a spot, you will be towed.
