RUHS THEATRE ARTS PRESENTS THE CRUCIBLE:

RUHS Theatre Arts is proud to present Arthur Miller’s The Crucible. Performances will take place in the RUHS Auditorium December 5th, 6th, and 7th at 7:00 pm with a 2:00 matinee on Sunday December 8th. Tickets can be purchased for $8.00 pre-sale through any show member, or at the ASB finance office. Tickets are $10.00 at the door and online at ruhsdrama.com. Winner of the Tony Award for Best Play, this exciting drama about the Puritan purge of witchcraft in old Salem is both a gripping historical play and a timely parable of our contemporary society.

CAML INFORMATION:

Congratulations to Max Black for earning the highest score at Redondo on last week’s CAML Contest, with a 5 out of 6. He was followed closely on this tougher than usual contest by Skyler Coleman, Theodore Danial, and Nicholas Cutsail, who each scored 4. The next CAML Contest will be on December 10.

SWIM TRYOUTS:

Boys and Girls Swim Tryouts will be held Monday, November 18th, 2019. Girls Varsity Water polo will tryout during 5th period. All Boys Water polo will tryout during 6th period. After school, tryouts will be held for the following: all freshmen and JV girls water polo, all other non water polo swimmers.

CHEMISTRY TUTOR:

Need help with Chemistry? Come down to Room 122 during lunch on Tuesdays, and Thursdays for

help! All qualified tutor who volunteer will receive community service hour!

MATH TUTORING:

*Free math tutoring will be available after school every Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 4 PM. Go to Room 152 on Tuesdays, and go to Room 209 on Thursdays.

*Need help with math? Come down to Room 313 during lunch on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and

Thursdays for help! Need community service hours? Like math? Come down to the Math Tutoring Club to volunteer as a math tutor for community service!

 

 

WE ARE ONE CLUB:

Come join We Are One! We are a club that promotes cultural understanding & awareness. We

do spectrum activities inspired by Jubilee. Last year we had a poster campaign around campus to stop stereotypes against minorities. If you are interested, we meet on Tuesdays in Room 804.

WANT TO LEARN TO HACK?

Hack Club is where creative people come together to build amazing things. On your first day, you'll build your very own website from scratch. Learn to code as you build websites, apps, and games. Come join the fun of pizza, music, and CODING AWESOME STUFF! No experience necessary. Hack Club meets after school on Thursdays and during lunch on Fridays at Mr. Middler's room 150.

DRESS CODE:

Please remember that RUHS has a strict dress code policy that needs to be adhered to. Failure to do so will result in having to change and/or fix your outfit. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask any adult on campus, or look on the website or in your school planner for the dress code policy of what is allowable and what is not.

PARKING AT RUHS:

Staff and Students: All parking spots are assigned and permitted. In order for you to park in the

parking lot during the school day, you MUST have been assigned a designated spot. Please do not

park in the parking lot if you did not receive a spot, you will be towed.
