RU READY CLASS OF 2024:
Redondo Union invites you to explore the experience of our PROUD Sea Hawk students! February 12, 2020 @ 4:30PM Self-Guided Tour, 5:00PM Club Fair (outside Auditorium) 6:00PM Auditorium presentation.
SINGING VALENTINE GRAMS:
Singing Valentine Grams will be available for purchase February 4th - February 10th. You can purchase a singing gram from any member of advanced choir or outside of the student union at lunch for $5. Grams include a card, Smencil, and a song sung by members of the advanced choir and will be delivered the Wednesday before Valentine’s Day. There is even an option to send a telephone gram to loved ones outside of the RUHS community. Buy one for your sweetheart, a friend, a family member, or your favorite teacher or staff member!
RUHS FOOTBALL TRYOUTS:
Any RUHS student currently not in the football program, and interested in playing, should come to the RUHS Football Tryout on Feb 20th at 3:30pm at the Field House. Athletes should have running shoes and cleats if possible. Try Out will last 1 hour or less. Any athletes in Spring sport interested in trying out should communicate with Coach Ballard to arrange separate tryout after your spring season. Coach Ballard is available any day during snack in Boys PE Office, big gym, or by email: [email protected].
RBEF ANNUAL SPRING GALA:
Save the Date for our annual spring gala at the Portofino Hotel on April 24, 2020.
CAML:
The next CAML Contest will be on February 11 at lunch!
Great news, we had 43 students participate in the AMC 10 & 12 Contests on 1/30/2020!
We will share the results in a few weeks when we receive them!
HOST FAMILES:
Do you want to build a lasting friendship with someone from another country? The French
Department is looking for host families for students from France, February 22nd and March 5th. This is an extremely rewarding and fun experience for all involved! If you are interested, please email Madame Graffio at [email protected]. Remember anyone can host, you do not have to speak French!
MATH TUTORING:
*Free math tutoring will be available after school every Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 4 PM. Go to Room 152 on Tuesdays, and go to Room 209 on Thursdays.
*Need help with math? Come down to Room 313 during lunch on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and
Thursdays for help! Need community service hours? Like math? Come down to the Math Tutoring Club to volunteer as a math tutor for community service!
