CSF:
The CSF (a state honor roll for California) spring registration window is open from Monday, 2/22 until Friday, 3/19. Students, please visit the CSF Google Classroom page for further information and access to the application. (The code to join is 6ohdsl5.) Freshmen may apply now that they have semester 1 grades. Seniors, remember that you need to have at least one semester of senior grades to be eligible for sealbearer.
RUHS COMEDY SPORTZ:
Comedy Sportz is back again with a bit of Disney Magic! Join us virtually Friday February 26th at 7:30 pm as we battle it out with South High for the comedy crown! We guarantee you’ll have some magical laughs at this Disney themed match! Tickets start at only $5 and will be available 2/24 at www.cszla.com/tickets. Before the match, head to Creamistry in the Plaza for a sweet treat to support the Drama Department from

CAML:
Congratulations to Theo Danial, Nick Cutsail, and Akash Pulinthanathu for being the top scoring students from RUHS on last week’s CAML Contest. They each scored 5 out of 6, and they are also the overall top 3 at Redondo heading into the last CAML contest which will be held during the third week of March. Results from the AMC 12 & AMC 10 contests on Feb 10 have not yet been announced.

Exploretech:
exploretech.la is an annual event hosted by UCLA students that aims to inspire high school students from underserved communities in the Greater Los Angeles Area to explore computer science,
engineering, and technology. In partnership with industry and academic organizations, our event introduces students to the various applications of tech through our panels, interactive workshops, and exhibition hall. Due to COVID-19, our event will be completely virtual this year and will be free for all Los Angeles County high school students (and teachers). It will be hosted through an online virtual platform where we will be porting over many of our prior activities and adding new ones. The event will take place on the weekend of April 10-11, 2021, and we would love for you to attend!

2020-2021 YEARBOOK PHOTOS:
The staff of the yearbook is working on putting together the 2021 Pilot, but as you know traditional student photos will not be taken. In order to guarantee that we can include everyone in the
yearbook, we need your help. Please see the attached instructions for uploading your own photos for use in the yearbook. We are asking you to use the HJ eShare app, provided by Herf Jones, to upload your photos to our yearbook staff. See complete details in the letter attached. DEADLINE IS 2/28/2021! The Deadline for ordering a yearbook will also be 2/28/2021! Don’t delay!
The last day the yearbook will accept uploaded portraits for all grades will be February 28. You have been sent links for grades 9-11. Contact Mr. Ziegler if you are having problems with this at: [email protected]

No matter where our RBUSD students begin their educational journeys, their paths always lead to Redondo Union High School. Let’s showcase our unity and support our current and future Sea Hawks, by helping upgrade the outdated and malfunctioning RUHS digital marquee on N. PCH. Our goal is to raise $50,000, and if every RBUSD family could donate at least $6 per enrolled student, we could easily reach this goal. PODS is a fun new group project for high school students to participate in to explore future career paths! Groups of students will be working collaboratively with other teens. With the benefits of
learning about career paths, students involved will be able to receive letters of reference or recommendation for character and achievement, volunteer hours and service learning
