SUMMER SCHOOL:
The RBEF 2021 Summer Session Program is now accepting registrations for their upcoming summer classes. If you’re interested in taking summer classes to advance in credits, complete a required course
for graduation in the summer to open up space in your schedule next year, or to take a class for enrichment, please consider visiting https://rbef.org/summer-sessions-2021. Summer classes will be offered in various formats: independent studies, distance learning, and in-person on campus. If you have any questions regarding the upcoming RBEF summer session program, please speak with your school counselor, or you can contact Mr. Regalado at [email protected].
DANCE GUARD AUDITIONS:
Auditions for the 2021-2022 school year will be taking place in June 2021. For more information about upcoming auditions, please email our dance guard coach, Cindy Frias, at [email protected] or fill out the 2021-2022 Audition Interest Form.
JOIN ADVANCED CHOIR AT RUHS:
Online Auditions will be available Now-June 1st on a rolling basis. The process for a recommendation only takes a few minutes!
1) Prepare a simple song (ex. Happy Birthday)
2) Quick vocal exercise led by Ms. Self to determine your vocal range
3) Easy sight reading / tonal matching exercise

Senior Prom:
Come celebrate! RUHS Campus on June 4th, from 7pm-11pm.
Tickets will be sold through the ASB Webstore or through the ASB Finance Office during school hours. Pricing details are as follows:
May 13th-May 23rd: $80 w/ASB, $90 without
May 24th- June 3rd: $90 w/ASB, $100 without
Price of a single admission ticket includes: Interactive games, food and beverages, music, dancing, and more.
Due to keeping with safety protocols, this event is reserved for RUHS Seniors only (Class of 2021).
All participants, when purchasing a ticket, will also complete a Google Form, you will be asked to:
1) Verify information and complete 2 waivers of liability.

2) Complete a Small Group List (in Google Form) of other students you will be enjoying the festivities of the evening with.
*Prior to the June 4th Event, all participants will be required to show proof of double vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 test (to be done 48 hours prior) by the day of the event. If you are fully vaccinated, there will be a space for you to upload a screenshot of your card on the Google Form listed above. Beach Cities Health District will also provide free testing on Wednesday, June 2nd. If you choose this option, please fill out the portion on the Google Form when submitting your liability waivers by May 28th. On the day of the event, students will also be required to show a health screening prior to entry on campus.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY:
South Bay Parkland Conservancy is looking for volunteers willing to plant around the amphitheater and dune hilltops at Hopkins Wilderness Park. COMEDY SPORTZ FUNDRAISER:

No matter where our RBUSD students begin their educational journeys, their paths always lead to Redondo Union High School. Let’s showcase our unity and support our current and future Sea Hawks, by helping upgrade the outdated and malfunctioning RUHS digital marquee on N. PCH. Our goal is to raise $50,000, and if every RBUSD family could donate at least $6 per enrolled student, we could easily reach this goal.
