RUHS DRAMA:
Are you ready to dance, jive, and have the time of your life? It’s time to get ready for auditions and interviews for our Spring Mainstage Musical: Mamma Mia! RUHS Theatre Arts will be holding an informational meeting at 3:15 pm, on Wednesday, December 15th. Come and get more information about how to audition and interview to be involved in the show! SCROC:
SoCal ROC Spring semester schedules are available now in the Nest! Earn high school elective credits while learning valuable skills that prepare you for an entry-level career. Courses are after school and FREE for high school students! Your SoCal ROC career guidance specialist is available to answer any questions in the Nest every Thursday during 2nd period and snack. Add your name to the sign-up sheet in the Nest to meet with her ASAP!

BOYS TENNIS TRYOUTS:
Boy's Varsity and JV try-outs will be held on December 8, 9, 13 & 14 from 3:15-4:45pm at the Upper Tennis Courts on Vincent Street. All new potential players and JV players from last year must try-out in order to be eligible for a spot on one of the teams. If you have questions please email: [email protected]

MATH TUTORING:
Are you confused during math class? Is there a homework problem that you can't figure out? Head on down to the math tutoring club in room 313 every Tuesday and Thursday during lunch. You will receive personalized, 1-on-1 help from your peers, absolutely free. We can provide you alternate pathways to answers that your teachers don't teach you during class. Sea Hawks, if you want to help your peers improve their math abilities and earn community service hours, you can become a tutor by coming to one of our club meetings.
CHEMISTRY TUTORING:
Do you need help with your chemistry homework or preparing for an exam? Head on down to the Chem tutoring club in room 122 every Tuesday and Friday during lunch starting on 9/17. You will receive personalized, one-on-one help from your peers, absolutely free. All students are welcome.
BIOLOGY TUTORING:
Biology peer tutoring will be available to all levels starting Tuesday, September 21, in Mrs. Frames' room (room 126), after school from 3:00 to 3:30.
We’re also looking for current or former AP Biology students to be tutors, so if you feel confident and are interested in peer tutoring for service hours, please come to Mrs. Frame’s room after school on Tuesday September 21st for the first meeting. FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES:
FCA or Fellowship of Christian Athletes is starting up again! Come to room 807 to eat pizza, play games, and hang out with other athletes. You don’t need to be a Christian or an athlete to attend, so make sure to bring your friends to room 807 every Friday.
THE SCIENCE OLYMPIAD TEAM:
Do you have a passion for science and learning and want to demonstrate your knowledge at a competitive level? The Science Olympiad team is looking for committed students willing to join.
Students will work in teams to gain experience in scientific topics such as building self-sustaining machines, analyzing crime scenes, and eventually competing in national competitions. Meetings for the Science Olympiad team are in Room 122 on Mondays at lunch!
ASIAN CULTURES CLUB:
Are you interested in learning about Asian cultures? Come to the Asian Cultures Club to make friends, learn about different Asian traditions, and make some yummy Asian food! Meetings are Tuesdays at lunch in the Bingo Room!
POKEMON CLUB:
Wanna play and talk about Pokemon with other students on campus? Come on down to the Pokemon Club on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, at lunch in room 610!
BREAKDANCING CLUB:
Are you interested in breakdancing? If so, come check out the breakdancing club, which is having its first meeting today in the bingo room during lunch. No prior experience is required, hope to see you there!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
South Bay Parkland Conservancy is looking for volunteers willing to weed, water, and plant the rest of the plant inventory around the amphitheater and lower pond areas at Hopkins Wilderness Park. The Key Club has already approved this project and deemed it safe for students.

LIBRARY PRINTING:
The library staff will print your assignments for $.10 per page. Purchase a printing punch card for $1.00 and receive 11 pages or supply your own white paper.
SCHOOL BREAKFAST & LUNCH:
Free breakfast and lunch meals will be available for all students, each day in the Student Union and at the two pods. A la carte snacks and drinks will be available for purchase outside at the snack windows. Students must have their student ID with them to scan for the cashier when receiving free meals or purchasing snack items. Cash payments will no longer be accepted.
