CSF HONOR ROLL REGISTRATION

The CSF (California Scholarship Federation) honor roll registration window will be open one more week, until Monday, March 13th. Students who qualify and want to join should fill out an application and bring it, along with their Fall report card, to be stamped in room 706 at lunch only. Students will then take the stamped application to the ASB finance office, along with $5, to complete their registration. The window will close on Monday, March 13th, and late applications will not be accepted. 

The Google Classroom code for this year’s CSF page is dstajyp. More information about how to qualify is available there. You can also check out the CSF page on the RUHS website:

COMEDYSPORTZ DINE OUT FUNDRAISER

Dine out this Saturday, March 4th from 10am to 9pm.  20% of the event sales will be donated to our ComedySportz Improv Club.  You can order via the app or pandaexpress.com enter fundraiser code 351588 or in person and show flyer via your smartphone (attached). 

 

LES MISERABLES TICKETS

The time is now, the day is here! RUHS Performing Arts proudly presents: Les Misérables! Featuring 124 RUHS students on stage, backstage and in the orchestra! Join the revolution in the RUHS Auditorium March 24, 25, 31 and April 1  at 7:00 pm and March 26  at 2:00 pm! Tickets can be purchased for $10.00 through any cast/crew member or at the RUHS ASB Finance Office. Tickets are $15 at the door and available on ruhsdrama.com. Come and hear the people sing!  

 

GIRLS BASKETBALL ELITE 8

Shout out to the Girls Varsity Basketball team for beating El Dorado 47-44.  The team now advances to the State quarter finals, the Elite 8.  We need your help in getting us through to the next round.  The Sea Hawks play at home this Saturday (3/4) at 7:00pm.  Come show your support and let’s get these girls off to state!

 

RUHS GOLF PARKING LOT SALE

RUHS will be hosting a “Get into the Swing” parking lot sale. It’s a community event aimed to encourage more kids to play golf by passing along gently used equipment and clothing while raising funds for the golf team. All proceeds go directly to the team.

When: March 4th, 2023

Where: Parking lot D RUHS Map

Goal: Supplement self-funded High School Girls and Boys Golf Program, by providing Range Balls, Uniforms, Shirts and Hats, Girls/Boys Home Matches, Tournaments, CIF Playoffs Awards Banquet, Senior Scholarships, and Golf Bags for the teams.

Donations:  Items can be dropped off directly in Coach Burke’s classroom, room 504, or drop boxes located in the main office.  For additional information about alternate drop-off locations or to schedule a pickup, please contact [email protected] or 310-922-8579

SOCAL ROC

Attention Students: Socal ROC Spring semester enrollment has begun! Earn high school elective credits while learning valuable skills that prepare you for college and/or an entry-level career. Courses are after school and FREE for high school students. FREE bus transportation is also available to and from our center for all RUHS students enrolled in our 1:15pm and 4:15pm classes. Your SoCal ROC career guidance specialist is available in the Nest to answer any questions every Thursday during 2nd period and snack. Add your name to the signup sheet in the Nest to meet with her ASAP!

COVID-19 UPDATE:

  1. Masking is now optional, however strongly recommended indoors and also outdoors in large crowds. Need a mask?  They are available in the Health Office.
  2. Maintain distance from others
  3. Frequently wash/sanitize your hands; especially before and after eating
  4. Actively answer the questions when passively screening before coming to campus
  5. Contact school personnel immediately (attendance office) upon COVID-19 symptoms, exposure, and/or positive test(s).
