HOMECOMING DANCE
Save the Date Sea Hawks! Our Homecoming Dance will be Saturday, September 30th. You may buy your tickets on our webstore on our school website or at the ASB Finance office in the Administration building. Just a reminder, TICKET PRICES will go up weekly. Your ticket includes: Food Trucks, Coffee Cart, Gaming Truck, Gaming Stations, DJ, Photo Booths, and more!
RUHS THEATRE ARTS AUDITIONS
Ever wonder what happened after Peter Pan brought the Wendy back from Neverland?! RUHS Theatre Arts will be holding auditions and technical interviews for the Winter Play – Lost Girl, the story of the girl who had to grow up. Interviews for technical crew will be held September 18th, and Auditions will be held September 19th for actors. For more information, please check out our Google Classroom Page, code Lju756t. CHOIR PERFORMANCE AT ANGELS GAME
RUHS Choirs are singing the national anthem for the Angels game on Wednesday September 27! Get tickets for the game and support the RUHS choir! Field level is $45 per ticket and View level is $20 per ticket. You can purchase the tickets at the ASB finance office or from Dr. Erskine. Contact Dr. Erskine, [email protected] if you have any questions.
CSF HONOR ROLL REGISTRATION
The CSF honor roll registration window will be open for two weeks, from Wednesday, August 30th through Wednesday, September 13th. Students in grades 10 through 12 who qualify and want to join should fill out an application (available on the Google Classroom page or in room 706 starting Wednesday) and bring it, along with their June report card, to be stamped in room 706 at lunch only. Students will then take the stamped application to the ASB finance office, along with $5, to complete their registration. The window will close on Wednesday, September 13th, and late applications will not be accepted. The Google Classroom code for this year’s CSF page is mprx4xk. Freshmen will need to wait to apply until February, when they have an RUHS report card, but they may join the Google Classroom now.
FALL 2023 GOVERNMENT INTERNSHIP
Internship opportunities for high school students are available with the District Office of California State Assembly member Al Muratsuchi in Torrance, CA. Fall internships run from mid-September 2023 to December 2023. Interns will have the opportunity to learn how a government office works. Applicants must be interested in political and government work. Internships are part-time and unpaid.
