CAL KIDS
To help give parents/caregivers a kickstart to saving, the state of California has officially launched the nation’s largest college savings program. The California Kids Investment and Development Savings (CalKIDs) program will help eligible low-income families with students enrolled in public school’s access college savings created in their children’s names, with seed investments between $500 and $1,500. Children of low-income families currently in grades 1-12, and newborns born in California on or after July 1, 2022, qualify. Click here to learn more and to set-up an account. PSAT
The Digital PSAT is coming to RUHS on Wednesday, October 16, and is available to all freshman, sophomore, and junior students.
Taking the PSAT each year not only prepares students for the SAT as well as the chance to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program, but also helps students track their progress toward college and career readiness from year to year. See attached flyer for more details.
PTSA
RUHS PTSA is excited to announce our first RUHS Trunk or Treat Event on Saturday, October 26th. We encourage RUHS Students, RUHS Clubs, RUHS Teams, RUHS Groups, and RUHS Families to register as "Trunk Participants" to decorate their cars or e-bikes and join us for this fun-filled event that will be open to the community. This FREE event will feature food trucks, music, a mini silent auction, RBPD's K9 Cadbury, face painting, an inflatable obstacle course, and a lot of "trunk" or treating for all! Costumes are encouraged and we are looking forward to seeing you there!

- 10 AM to 11 AM - Early Access Hour for our community members who may benefit from quieter event space (no music, no sounds, no strobe lights) and before larger crowds arrive at 11 AM.

THEATER ARTS
It’s the miracle you’ve been waiting for! RUHS Theatre Arts proudly presents: Matilda, the Musical! Join us in the RUHS Auditorium October 17, 18, 19 at 7:00 pm and October 20 at 2:00 pm! Tickets can be purchased for $15.00 before October 17th at 5 pm at www.ruhsdrama.com, after which they move to $20. RUHS students can purchase 1 ticket each for $10. We hope you will join us for this fantastical story brought to life from the page to the stage!

Our drop-in Stress Management Group launched this week and will continue every Tuesday in the Wellness Center from 10:15-11:00 a.m. during snack and SSH
