LIBRARY

We are excited to announce that the Scholastic Book Fair is returning to the RUHS Library next week, Monday, 10/21, through Friday,10/25. Relive all your nostalgic book fair dreams and perhaps even do some early holiday shopping. We will also be open after school if you’d like to bring your family.

We will be hosting an *exclusive* teacher preview before school next Monday, 10/21, starting at 7:30 am, so you can browse and still make it to your department collab time. Coffee and pastries will be served. You can fill out a teacher wish list and recommend a book or two while you’re there.

We would also love to invite your class down to visit the book fair during class. Priority will be given to English classes, and I will offer the remaining time slots to those non-English teachers who are interested. If you are a non-English teacher and would like to bring your classes down to the Book Fair during class, please reply to this email and let me know which periods you’d like to come down. I will do my best to accommodate all requests!

Additional book fair themed events will include a student AND teacher raffle, a “caught reading” feature on our @redondounionlibrary Instagram, and other wild book fair items I haven’t yet dreamt up.

Special thanks to our amazing RUHS PTSA for volunteering to work this event.
