SEA HAWKS OF THE WEEK:

R U CLASSIC CAR SHOW:

Please join us on October 13th from 9:00am - 3:00pm for our 5th annual classic car show! RUHS Jazz Band, Live DJ, DOOR PRIZES! Unforgettable Lemonade & Ice Cream Concessions offering: BBQ BURGERS, HOT LINKS, HOT DOGS & BEVERAGES. Judging begins at noon.

TEEN COURT:

Teen Court will be holding its 1st trial of the 18-19 school year on 10/17/18 in the Teen Court/Bingo Room. Teen Court welcomes all to come see the effect teens in democracy have on the lives of other teens. Our first trial will be a case of Burglary and Failure to Obey Orders of a Police Officer. All are welcome to observe in the audience, but students interested in serving on the jury must be trained. New juror training begins @ 3:00 in room 506; sign-in for Teen Court begins @ 3:10, and court begins @ 3:30.  See you in court.

SPIRIT WEEK:

Spirit week is next week! Be sure to dress up and show off your school spirit. The theme for the week is TV Channels, to go along with our “Gameshow” Rally next Friday. Monday is Netflix, so come in your PJ’s or lounge wear, like you wear when you binge watch your favorite series on Netflix. Tuesday is Travel Channel, so deck out in your travel gear as if you were going on an adventure in a faraway land. Wednesday is ESPN, so wear a jersey or sports gear. Thursday is Disney Channel, get decked out in your mouse ears or dress as a Disney character. Finally, Friday is class colors, to show your spirit for our Rally!

 COFFEE WITH THE COUNSLERS:

Please join some of the RUHS Counselors at our upcoming 9th Grade Parent Coffee. The event will be held Thursday, October 11th in the RUHS Library from 8:30 a.m. to 9:40 a.m. Come learn about how RUHS Counselors support students. Also get a sneak peek at the information we share with our freshman students throughout the year. 9th grade families were emailed a link to RSVP. 

GIRL SOCCER TRYOUTS:

Girls Soccer Tryouts will be held Friday Oct 19th from 3:15 to 5pm on the athletic field.  This tryout is only for girls not in 5th period soccer.  If you are a fall sport athlete, please stop by to see me for more information.  Dress for soccer with cleats, shin guards, and water.  For more information, please contact Coach Shelly Mardsen at [email protected]

BASEBALL TRYOUTS:

Baseball tryouts will be held for ALL Freshman and those new to the program on Oct 26th,29th,and 30th at 3:30 on the varsity Baseball Field. Any questions please contact Coach Diver - [email protected]

ASB INFORMATION:

*Hey Seniors! It's not too late to buy a Senior Sticker and enjoy all the fun senior events we have to offer (plus food!)! Stickers cost $40 and can be purchased in the ASB finance office! Hurry before it's too late!

PARKING AT RUHS:

Staff and Students: All parking spots are assigned and permitted. In order for you to park in the

parking lot during the school day, you MUST have been assigned a designated spot. Please do not park in the parking lot if you did not receive a spot, you will be towed.

DRESS CODE:

Please remember that RUHS has a strict dress code policy that needs to be adhered to. Failure to do so will result in having to change and/or fix your outfit. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask any adult on campus, or look on the website or in your school planner for the dress code policy of what is allowable and what is not.
