RUHS THEATRE ARTS:
RUHS Theatre Arts is proud to present IN ANY LANGUAGE! Performances will take place in the RUHS Auditorium December 6, 7, 8 at 7:00 pm with a 2:00 matinee on December 9. Tickets can be purchased for $8.00 pre-sale through any show member, or at the ASB finance office. Tickets are $10.00 at the door and online at ruhsdrama.com. “In Any Language” is a hilarious comedy that plays on the satire of classic Italian Cinema. Come see what happens when an American actress travels to Rome to make a movie – but can’t speak the language! We hope to see you there!
CAML CONTEST:
Congratulations to Max Black for scoring a perfect 6 on the November 13th CAML Contest! He was followed closely by Akash Pulinthanathu who scored 5. The next CAML Contest will be on December 11th!
ATTENTION SENIORS:
MAKE UP PICTURE DAY FOR ALL SENIORS is Tuesday, December 4th from 8am-1pm in the Bingo Room. If you have not gone to Lifetouch Prestige Portrait Studios, stop by the receptionist desk in the main office to schedule an appointment. This will ensure that your photo will be in the
yearbook. Don’t miss out!
SPORTS TRYOUT:
*Boys lacrosse tryouts will be held Tuesday, December 18 and Wednesday, December 19 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on the athletic field.
*Track tryouts will be held Tuesday December 4 and Thursday December 6 at 3:15 PM on the track. You must attend both days of the tryout. Sign up with Coach Kelley at the front desk in the main office.
WANT TO LEARN TO PROGRAM?
Want to learn and practice more advanced techniques? Redondo Union will be joining forces with Mira Costa to sponsor a local Hackathon where you can put your programming skills to the test and do exactly that! Local Hack Day is a Hackathon that will be taking place at Mira Costa High School on December 1st, from 9AM - 9PM. Hackathons are 12 hour long events where groups of people get together, attend workshops, and work on anything that they can dream up and complete over the course of the event. No experience necessary! The event is free and dinner will be provided, as long as you register. To do that and get more information, see Mr. Middler in room 150 or contact Benjamin Tait. *El Camino College counselor will be visiting the Nest every Tuesday during 4th and 6th period starting October 30. Stop by the Nest to sign up and meet one on one with the El Camino counselor to discuss how to apply and sign up for classes.
RED CROSS COLLECTION DRIVE FOR VETERANS:
The Redondo Union Red Cross Club will be holding a Veterans Collection Drive. We will be gathering personal care items to donate to veterans in need through the Veteran Association Los Angeles Area. New personal care items can include soap, toothbrushes, shaving cream and much more. Please take a moment to assist our veterans by donating these items. Items can be dropped off in a collection drive box either in Room 705 or at the front desk. Thank you for your contributions.

POKEMON CLUB:
Students are you interested in Pokemon? Then come to the Pokemon club. There will be prizes, drawing, tournaments, and of course the Pokemon. The club will be on Tuesday and Thursday at room 163 or 162 at lunch. So come on down to catch it.
MUSIC LOVERS:
Jam club will be meeting on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Mr. Soohoos room, room 209. Anyone with any musical experience is welcome, they will be playing every and all types of music so come on down and have a jammin' time.

Please remember that RUHS has a strict dress code policy that needs to be adhered to. Failure to do so will result in having to change and/or fix your outfit. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask any adult on campus, or look on the website or in your school planner for the dress code policy of what is allowable and what is not.

Staff and Students: All parking spots are assigned and permitted. In order for you to park in the parking lot during the school day, you MUST have been assigned a designated spot. Please do not park in the parking lot if you did not receive a spot, you will be towed.
