Mrs. Michele Andrade . Art I & II

My name is Mrs. Michele Andrade and I have the great privilege of being your Art 1, Art 2 and AP Art and Design Teacher this school year!  I have been teaching Art since 2009 and hold a BA in Art Education and a Single Subject Teaching credential in Art from CSULB. I started at a private school in Huntington Beach, CA teaching art to JK-8th grade students and came to teach at Redondo Union High School in 2016. Art is my passion, my creative outlet and my calling... I hope that I can inspire my students to become creative problem solvers with a deep appreciation and understanding of what the arts bring to our lives and culture.

I currently live in the OC area with my husband Matthew, and our 4 kids. I enjoy painting, reading, traveling and spending time with my family, friends and church family.

I feel very fortunate and blessed to be your Art teacher this year, and I am excited to make this the best year yet!
